SeaGrape Studio has come to life out of my love for designing and sewing contemporary quilts. The style of my accessories has been strongly influenced by a variety of quilting traditions: combining numerous fabrics in one piece; balancing a composition through shape and pattern; and adding texture through an array of embellishments.

I love creating both artwork and functional items from fabrics, mainly because of their remarkable ability to touch people’s emotions in an immediate way.

All of my accessory designs are intended to bring you visual joy, for your everyday life. I use only premium quality fabrics and components, and give exceptional attention to detail as each piece is hand–produced.

SeaGrape handbags, in particular, are crafted to work hard also – you’ll find practical features, like zippered pockets and snap closures, that can save you time and keep you organized.

All pieces are created in very limited quantities, with some pieces being one-of-a-kind. I also accept commission work for custom accessories, and would be happy to answer any product inquiries you may have.
